DEVELOPMENTAL EDITING

DEVELOPMENTAL EDITING IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF...

  • You need outside feedback on the flow, pacing, and plot of your story

  • You feel stuck in your story and aren't sure how to move forward

  • You've read over your work one or two times, and the spelling and grammar errors do not take away from the plot

THIS PACKAGE INCLUDES...

  • Inline comments on developmental aspects of your story

  • Suggestions of scenes to add, delete, or modify to focus the plot

  • A 1000+ word critique of the elements of your story

COPY EDITING

$0.015 - $0.02 / word

Free 1000 word sample offered for new clients

YOU'RE READY FOR COPY EDITING WHEN...

  • You're confident you've resolved the majority of your manuscript's story issues (i.e. plot holes, character development), and you won't be doing any major rewrites moving forward

  • You've read through and edited your story at least one time

THIS PACKAGE INCLUDES...

  • Consistency in spelling, capitalization, and description

  • Grammar and punctuation

  • Sentence structure, style, and word choice suggestions (including minor rewrites)

  • Line editing

COMBO PACKAGE: You can add in-line story comments and developmental critiques, plus a 1000+ word manuscript evaluation for an extra $0.075/word

PROOFREADING
